Dr. William I. Brustein
In 2020 Dr William I. Brustein transitioned from his role as Vice President for Global Strategies and International Affairs at West Virginia University to become the Eberly Family Distinguished Professor of History. During his tenuse as Vice President,Dr.Brustein was deeply committed to integrating International and multicultural experiences throughout the academic units of the university,while also expanding and strengthening its global presence.Throughout his administrative career,Dr.Brustein has been dedicated to advancing international education and has acquired substantial leadership experience in fostering international partnerships.
TNE PROGRAMS
Cross border higher education (CBHE) or transnational education (TNE) is defined as the delivery of higher education activities cross national boundaries by a higher education institution either operating directly in the host country or in association with an international partner in the host country (Jones, 2001; Stafford and Taylor, 2016).
